Day 2 - Hobart Salamanca Markets + Museum of Old and New Art

This morning is yours to enjoy the Salamanca markets at your leisure. Salamanca is one of Australia’s most loved outdoor markets. You can meander the many colourful stalls and support the many local businesses. From food to handy-crafts, clothing or toys. There is something for everyone.

In the afternoon a private transfer will take you to MONA, Hobart’s famous Museum of Old and New Art. The afternoon is at your leisure to explore the many exhibitions before returning to Hobart for a three-course dinner.

Day 3 - Bruny Island

Today enjoy an exclusive small group excursion with a local guide to the amazing Bruny Island.

Bruny Island is home to a variety of native wildlife including fairy penguins, wedge-tailed eagles, albatross and fur seals. November is a great time for wildlife spotting, particularly from The Neck. A narrow strip of land connecting north and south Bruny Island. Here you will also visit the Truganini memorial. This memorial is dedicated to the Aboriginal woman, Truganini, from the Nuenonne tribe that inhabited Bruny Island prior to European settlement. She was the daughter of the chief and spent her life trying to unite the indigenous communities of Tasmania.

Continuing on to South Bruny National Park for a Cape Bruny Lighthouse Tour.

Lunch is included on Bruny Island before enjoying an afternoon filled with delightful Bruny Island food experiences including chocolate, fudge and honey tastings.
