Upper Mustang mountain biking will take you through a diverse range of landscapes, from high Himalayan deserts to tropical topography, immersing you in the rich Tibetan culture and Buddhism heritage. With every stroke of the pedal, you'll be able to completely experience and appreciate the cultural and historical importance of this incredible region.
This is a small group private departure hosted by myself and my wife, and guided by local Nepalese Mountain bike guides is a one-off departure.
Come and join us on this once in a lifetime adventure as we cycle approx 270kms over 13 days from Jomsom to Lo-Manthang return. Riding will be a mix of single track, jeep track, yack track and possibly everything in between.
Mountain bike experience is required (riding blue trails confidently)
Expect to be riding 15-25kms at altitudes over 3,000m and up to 4,000m on the first 7 days. With longer days in the saddle on the 2nd half of the trip as we descend back towards Pokhara.
